  • Se estrena “Plumíferos” ?
    malefico's spot - 2010-01-12 23:15:21

  • Sculpting time lapse in Blender 2.5
    thisroomthatikeep - 2010-01-12 15:22:00

So, I wanted to test sculpting in 2.5 some more, and, after watching this video at blendernation, I've decided to sculpt a goblin...I'm afraid the result doesn't look much like a goblin...

I've also recorded most of the process, here's a couple of time lapsed videos of the sculpting:

  • Particles diffussion or mixing mixable fluids
    Tinker Code - 2010-01-12 14:21:22

Hi all Previously, when I show the mixing fluids feature of fluid particles I only sowed the physical behavior of the mixing fluids and as was pointed by Daniel Genrich , it still missed mixing mixable fluids or diffusion. Well, the good news is that properties diffussion is pretty straigthfoward to add, not just color could [...]
  • Maya, rigging in maya *sob*
    digital janitor - 2010-01-12 13:20:00

After a long break from maya and only using blender, Softimage and lastly houdini... I'm forced back into rigging with Maya. And I must say, it's probably the worst application today to do so with :)
Tools that are so old that it's nothing but pure pain to use them. More modern software today makes a lot of the tools obsolete, or that you can create the same thing within minutes.
Just too many things needs to be scripted that others now have as regular tools, and we shouldn't today (it was fun when it was Maya 4.0) have to write new tools all the time, or download them from Highend3d.

Anyhow.. frustrated rant from working in a software designed around 1830.. and still in he same state....

  • New Watercolor 'Hodge Close'
    RoyTheArtist and Friends - 2010-01-12 09:41:00

This is painted from a photograph I took while on holiday in the Lake District, you may be noticing a pattern here! It is now listed on Ebay-Low price! We have definitely fallen in love with Cumbria. Looking forward to supporting the local economy there again this year. Winter days do seem to drag, I look forward to spring, so this was a memory. Best viewed listening to 'The Blue Danube' (That was playing during painting it!) Don't forget, if you would like to learn how to paint rough brush watercolor, like this my DVD is available, and now an instant download option for only $7.00 - Bargain!
