  • Agregando subtítulos en Cinelerra
    The Mercator Project - 2010-03-24 22:36:48

    sample

No señores.

    keymode_detail

  • A break from the current, A break into the past!
    3rD Movement - 2010-03-24 17:11:00

So, it is March and I haven't posted this month yet, so here it is finally. There hasn't been much new artwork getting done due to having a certain windows RC operating system head into the land of "shutdownevery2hours". Been doing some OS 'experiment' have installed linux and have been trying to make things work. Well things were working, until yesterday, it seems i break stuff quite easily there. On a brighter note, I cooked some bacon today, now the stove is all splattered.

  • New team members, 4k, renders
    Durian Open Movie Project - 2010-03-24 16:37:24

Yesterday we went to the 4k viewing room from Cinegrid Amsterdam again (www.waag.org). They were still fighting desktop issues, silly drivers stuff… the picture below was meant to be the first in a series showing us watch 4k, but then the camera battery went down! Still, it’s an insane  screen with epic proportions and resolution. So cool to see our work on it!

Also arrived monday and tuesday, two new artists. They deserve a picture: William (2nd pic) and Dolf (3rd pic). Welcome dudes!

And for the impatient crowds; here a test render I snatched from Soenke today, it is really not final, bad textures, and so on.  But still… worth showing! Later more…

Hey! Very long time no post, I know. But we are or have been all in very time-consuming projects, so there is no chance to post anything on our poor lonely blog ;-) But that has just changed! Because the project I have been working on is finally over, the last changes been finished and [...]

    Blender 3D Architect - 2010-03-24 02:14:04

One of the ways I use to organize my presentations and even the subjects of my books is with Mind maps. This is a powerful and intuitive way to organize and display information, in order to plan or make decisions. • Talk @ Hampshire GLUG
    tube - 2010-03-24 00:55:04

On Thursday, March 25th at 5:30 we’ll give a presentation at the Hampshire GLUG (GNU Linux User Group) in the East Lecture Hall on campus. We’ll screen the teaser and Elephants Dream, talk about Open Movie projects, about the CG Incubator Space and Tube. I plan on showing images and video from the production (including sikrit unreleased stuff!!!! )

Being me, I’ll probably end up spending some or most of the time showing some Blender 2.5 goodies, especially where they affect our production- so those interested in using Blender for their own work, or users of older versions who haven’t made the switch and want a first time look might enjoy.

If you live close by, please come, the event is open to all (not just members of the glug) and we even have free food, provided by Fresh Side Cafe in Amherst.
